Antibiotic Packaging and Repackaging Services

Blenheim Pharmacal operates cGMP antibiotic packaging / repackaging suites in a separately controlled facility.  FDA regulations place strict requirements on the handling and packaging of antibiotics to control the potential of cross contamination.  Blenheim Pharmacal has two independent packaging suites: one for penicillin and one for cephalosporin.  These facilities have physical separation from the main facility and each other as well as independent air handling systems and receiving/warehousing/shipping.  Each suite has dedicated personnel who work exclusively in each antibiotic packaging suite.  Due to the potential of contamination, each suite operates dedicated packaging equipment, which is never used for any other products. Our personnel are specifically selected and trained to function in this more rigorous environment. 

Our facility, including the antibiotics suites, are routinely audited by the FDA, with no sited observations or issues.  Blenheim Pharmacal has operated these antibiotic suites with no regulatory issues since 2004.  We have recently made a significant investment in equipment upgrades to increase production speed and capacity, while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
